Alexei Yashin reaches a milestone !
Alexei Yashin scored the 800th point of his career in tonight's game against the Nashville Predators on a feed by Vyacheslav Kozlov. My parents came to see this game so I just had to deliver, he commented during a post game radio interview.
A native of Russia, Alexei Yashin was originally drafted to the NHL by the Ottawa Senators in the 1st round of the 1992 entry draft. He has appeared in 936 NHL games during his career, notching 348 goals and adding 452 assists along with 367 penalty minutes. The 35 year old center has played 60 games with the Minnesota Wild this season, totalling 17+28=45 with 2 PIM.
