Tomas Kaberle notched the 300th assist of his career in tonight's game against the Chicago Blackhawks on a goal by Gilbert Brulé. My kids attended this game so it is extra special for me, he commented and was all smiles..
A native of Czech, Tomas Kaberle was originally drafted to the NHL by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 8th round of the 1996 entry draft. He has appeared in 654 NHL games during his career, notching 64 goals and adding 300 assists along with 183 penalty minutes. The 30 year old defenseman has played 47 games with the Colorado Avalanche this season, totalling 4+23=27 with 23 PIM.
