Vincent Lecavalier reaches a milestone !
Vincent Lecavalier scored the 500th point of his career in tonight's game against the Calgary Flames on a feed by Saku Koivu. I'm not out here to set records, but it's always nice to get the points, he said after signing autographs for some kids.
A native of Canada, Vincent Lecavalier was originally drafted to the NHL by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 1st round of the 1998 entry draft. He has appeared in 668 NHL games during his career, notching 232 goals and adding 268 assists along with 429 penalty minutes. The 28 year old left wing has played 38 games with the Montreal Canadiens this season, totalling 25+18=43 with 47 PIM.
