Bill Guerin reaches a milestone !
Bill Guerin scored the 700th point of his career in tonight's game against the Philadelphia Flyers on a feed by Sean Bergenheim. This one is for the fans who are paying my salary, he commented during a post game radio interview.
A native of USA, Bill Guerin was originally drafted to the NHL by the New Jersey Devils in the 1st round of the 1989 entry draft. He has appeared in 1027 NHL games during his career, notching 344 goals and adding 356 assists along with 1460 penalty minutes. The 38 year old left wing has played 18 games with the New York Islanders this season, totalling 2+2=4 with 41 PIM.
